Before we quote a shoot, we run the same forty-point sweep. It is not glamorous and it has saved more budgets than any piece of kit we own.

The checklist covers the obvious: permits, locations, cast availability, kit list, insurance, weather windows. It also covers the things that quietly sink a schedule, like who has final approval, whether that person will be reachable on shoot day, and how many revision rounds the contract actually allows.

Half the questions have nothing to do with cameras. That is deliberate. A shoot rarely fails because of the camera.
